Following an evaluation process W.B. Griffiths & Son Ltd have been successful with their tender for Minor Works Scheme for Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service.
The contract involves us taking every precaution to minimise the disruption to the Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service premises during the minor works process. The general strategy is to enhance premises awareness and to incorporate construction noise mitigation tactics into our planning.
Ultimately, the goal is to mitigate the impact of construction on the immediate premises as much as possible and to incorporate an extensive plan to observe "quiet times". We will establish the makeup of the plan through a workshop with the client and provide a forum for their concerns, and plan to incorporate any ideas that improve our partnership.
The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service covers some 4,500 square miles and makes-up almost two thirds of the landmass of the Principality of Wales.
